    What started as a pre-construction project in 2005 evolved into Ledcor leading the start-up and operations of this metallurgical coal mine that was handed over to Western Coal in June 2009. Ledcor supplied more than 200 onsite personnel (mostly local hires) 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We also provided technical personnel to facilitate mine engineering, planning, survey controls, reconciliation, and maintenance services for both Ledcor and Western Coal mining equipment fleets. Over the lifetime of the project, Ledcor processed 2 million tons of clean coal annually and 22 million bank cubic meters of waste material.
