Ledcor partnered with Syncrude Canada Ltd. to provide Contract Mining Services for 5 years at the Aurora Mine Site, located 75 km north of Fort McMurray. The scope of work included salvage, load and haul of reclamation materials and excavation. Other activities performed included hauling and placement of overburden, ongoing project work and road construction. Miscellaneous mining services performed included dam and dyke construction and maintenance.
