Installed in parallel on above ground pipe racks.
  1. Willow Creek Mine

In 2005, Ledcor constructed approximately 63 km (39 miles) of pipeline, ranging in sizes from 3 inches to 32 inches for Encana. Installed in parallel on above-ground pipe racks, at the time of completion the 32-inch sized trunk line was the world’s largest steam pipeline ever built.

During the project we encountered varied terrain from undulating forested land to flat muskeg. The scope of work included a substantial amount of pile extensions, structural steel supports, and expansion loops. Subcontractors were used for a non-destructive evaluation, preheating, post-weld heat treatment, heat tracing, and insulation.

A camp was constructed to house 300 workforce on this project.
