Grizzly Oil Sands SAGD Module Assembly

Ledcor’s Pipe Fabrication and Module Assembly plant in Nisku, Alberta, is currently building modules for Grizzly Oil Sands SAGD project located 40 kilometers (25 miles) southwest of Fort McMurray, Alberta. This project mandates the fabrication and assembly of 32 modules to be delivered to the project site. Due to the immediate proximity of the SAGD project, Ledcor will be able to deliver the products in a time-efficient and cost-effective manner.

The Nisku facility is designed and constructed for maximum efficiency and cost effectiveness. Our throughput capacity for pipe fabrication is about 40,000 unfactored diameter inches per month. We ship approximately 25 completed modules each month, with another 75 modules in various stages of completion at any given time.
