This new centre for children and youth living with health complexity will span over 100,000 square feet across four levels. Designed and built to meet diverse accessibility needs, it provides sixteen patient and family suites for short overnight stays, All Nations program spaces for Indigenous patients and families, a Welcome Centre with various gathering spaces, patient care areas, and underground parking.
Key interior elements include a three-level accessible ramp, multi-storey atrium, and multiple balconies and patios on each floor for natural light and easy access to the outdoors. Outside features include inner courtyards, an accessible wellness path, and extensive green space with mature trees. This project reflects our commitment to build inclusive, supportive spaces for children, youth, and families.
