LS Barrie Constructors expanded a three kilometre section of the Barrie Rail Corridor in King City. The project included grading, subballast and drainage for a second track, electrical raceway construction, two pile and lagging retaining walls, three culvert replacements up to two metres in diameter completed during weekend track blocks, construction of crash walls to Bathurst bridge, and installations of micro-piles through the existing bridge footings to strengthen the structure.
