Ledcor is a member of the LS Barrie Constructors joint venture team performing enabling works along the rail corridor, also known as the Newmarket subdivision. This project includes accommodation of the planned expansion of GO Transit rail services.

Relevant Highlights:

  • 3 km of grading for a new second mainline track
  • Construction of new retaining walls along the rail corridor
  • Construction of crash walls to protect an existing bridge
  • Multiple culvert replacement and extensions (including two new 2 m diameter culverts by trenchless methods for the East Humber River)
