Ledcor is delivering both year-round and seasonal highway maintenance along 835 km of the Alaska Highway north of Fort St. John. This project supports safe movement for local and commercial traffic along a critical transportation corridor while providing long-term infrastructure reliability and regional connectivity across northern British Columbia.
This multi-year contract spans from Kilometer 133 to Kilometer 968, encompassing both the southern and northern sections of the highway. The scope of work includes roadway and drainage maintenance, winter operations, inspections, asphalt and aggregate applications, and signage installation to enhance public safety and traffic management. To maintain year-round safety, Ledcor also provides rapid response to changing environmental conditions and unplanned events such as flooding, erosion, frost heaves, and debris.
In collaboration with BC Treaty 8 Indigenous groups, Ledcor is committed to supporting long-term economic participation and investment in local communities.
