    This Certified LEED Gold facility is an integral part of British Columbia’s healthcare system, providing exceptional specialized care for the most seriously ill children and complex obstetrical cases in BC. It includes inpatient units, an Emergency Department, Medical Imaging, Procedural Suites, Hematology/Oncology Department and Pediatric Intensive Care for BC Children’s Hospital. It also includes a high-risk labour and delivery suite and a new neonatal intensive care unit. 

    The facility provides private single-patient rooms with comfortable space for family members or caregivers to stay, with natural light and access to outdoor green spaces. 

    Our consortium, Affinity Partnerships, was awarded the Design, Build, Finance and Maintain (30+ year) contract, which is a Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) with the Provincial Health Services Authority.
