This fully-accessible, multi-purpose sports facility includes an aquatic centre with a 25-metre, 10-lane pool—the largest in the Durham Region; a double gymnasium; twin pad arena; and flexible community space. The 13-acre outdoor park will feature major sports fields; pickleball, basketball and tennis courts; a skate park and pump track; and a children’s playground. This project is the first facility with a gymnasium, pool, and arena to target both LEED Gold and Net-Zero Carbon certification.
