Ledcor is making significant progress on the Cedar LNG Project, a proposed floating Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) facility located near Kitimat, British Columbia. Through a unified ‘One Ledcor’ approach, the company is actively delivering multiple scopes of construction across both the pipeline and marine terminal segments of the major energy initiative. Ledcor’s Pipeline and Heavy Civil teams are bringing their distinct expertise to the project.
The project’s pipeline phase is now well underway. Following the arrival of the initial pipe shipment from Germany in June, welding operations are in progress, marking a critical step toward connecting the facility.
Working in parallel, Ledcor's Heavy Civil team is actively engaged on site, driving major construction progress at the Marine Terminal. Their scope includes foundational early construction activities such as site preparation, grading, drainage, and access-road development. These initial efforts are crucial for setting the groundwork for the next phase of terminal work.
Ledcor's scope of work on the Cedar LNG Project is on track for completion, with final handover slated for October 2026.
