Summit Air was, once again, the main sponsor of the Annual Plane Pull, a unique and friendly competition that raises money for the North West Territories Special Olympics.

Teams of ten gathered at the RCMP/DND Hanger of the Yellowknife Airport to participate in the ultimate challenge of pulling a plane weighing over 66,000 pounds a distance of 25 feet in the fastest time possible.

In addition to being the main sponsor, Summit Air provided the plane to be pulled, an Avro RJ85, and pulled together a team of ten to join in on the fun.

The members of sixteen teams rolled up their sleeves and pulled together to raise $15,500 for a great cause. Well done!
