Ledcor Employees Take Part In Charity Golf Tournament For Wounded Warrior Project

On June 3rd, employees from Ledcor Development LP and Ledcor Technical Services (LTS) took part in the 1st annual Mitsubishi Electric US Charity Golf Tournament. The tournament was in support of the Wounded Warrior Project — a not-for-profit that assists physically and mentally wounded veterans and their families through necessary services and programs. Along with participating in the tournament, Ledcor sponsored the event and one of the holes on the course.

The golf tournament was a day completely dedicated to veterans, with sponsorships, donations, and auction proceeds all going towards the Wounded Warriors Project. A part of the Ledcor team was Marcus McNabb, a Design Engineering Manager with LTS and a veteran who served for the US Army in Iraq.

Marcus, who was unfortunately wounded in service, is one of more than 52,000 servicemen and women who have been physically injured in recent military conflicts. Around 500,000 more live with invisible wounds, from depression to post-traumatic stress disorder — 320,000 experiencing debilitating brain trauma.

Thank you to everyone who supported or participated in the event. To learn more about the Wounded Warrior Project and their mission, please visit their website.
