VANCOUVER, BC – The Ledcor Group of Companies is supporting children and families this holiday season by donating $700,000 to local food banks in Canada and the U.S. across Ledcor office locations.

“Ledcor is donating $700,000 to more than 30 local food banks to support fresh and healthy food supply over the holiday season,” said Dave Lede, Chairman and CEO. “The holidays can be a particularly difficult and expensive time for many families. We are very fortunate to be in a position to help – we hope our contributions will help lessen the burden in our communities.”

Through its charitable foundation, Ledcor is contributing funds to food banks in the communities where its employees work and live:  Abbotsford, Kamloops, Kelowna, Kitimat, Richmond, Surrey, Valemount, Vancouver, Vancouver Island, Calgary, Edmonton, Fort McMurray, Jasper, Leduc, Yellowknife, Regina, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, London, Milton, Mississauga, Ottawa, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Austin, Chicago, Georgetown, Hercules, Indianapolis, Irvine, Lexington, Louisville, Maui, Reno and San Diego. Last year, more than $300,000 was distributed across North America to support these food banks.
