We’ve harnessed the sun with 1.0 MW solar panel farms in the deserts of Reno, helped bring clean electricity to 35,000 Alberta homes by wind, and produced enough power via run-of-river energy to supply all of Whistler-Blackcomb.

Areas of Focus
We have worked on run-of-river hydroelectric projects that reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions equivalent to removing 21,000 cars from the road each year while producing 230 GWh of electricity - enough to power 23,000 homes. We constructed 55 wind turbine generator foundations for Suncor Energy’s largest wind power project in Canada, and we built a solar photovoltaic system designed to be incorporated into an existing 115 MW gas-fired Western 102 power plant.
Pipeline Integrity Institute
We are proud to become a foundation partner for the Pipeline Integrity Institute (PII), a new institute at UBC that will provide training and research towards pipeline integrity that launched 2015.
The vision of the Pipeline Integrity Institute is to champion world-leading practices and innovation through advanced education, training, and applied research towards safer pipelines. The Institute will contribute to the global search for pipeline best practices and innovation.
Their studies on the performance of pipelines subject to ground movements, such as those arising from landslides and earthquakes, and expertise in pipe materials and protection of pipelines will help in moving towards zero-incident pipelines that serve the needs of communities and the environment.
