Chairman & CEO, Ledcor Group of Companies
Dave is Chairman of the Board and CEO of the Ledcor Group of Companies, previously holding the title of President and General Manager until 1980.
Dave has held many positions while rising through the ranks of his family-founded company, including Equipment Operator, Foreman, and Superintendent throughout his school and university years, and Operations Manager and Chief Estimator post-university. During his tenure, he has continued to diversify the company and expand our operations, making Ledcor one of the largest and most diversified construction companies in Canada.
Dave holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta, as well as two years of post-graduate studies in Engineering, also from the University of Alberta.
President, Ledcor Group of Companies
Ron has held numerous progressive management appointments at Ledcor, starting in the field through to his existing Executive position. Most recently, Ron was President and CEO of Ledcor Industries Inc., the largest subsidiary of the Ledcor Group of Companies. Ron is a member of the Board of Directors and all Ledcor Senior Executive Committees.
In his role as President, Ron oversees all North American major projects and diversification investments.
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Ledcor Group of Companies
As CFO, Jim is responsible for the overall financial management of the Ledcor Group, including all financial reporting, taxation, risk management and banking, and treasury activities.
Prior to joining Ledcor, Jim held senior financial management positions in a number of international companies operating in a wide range of industries, most recently as CFO of a publicly traded natural resource company.
Jim holds an MBA from University of Western Ontario and is a Certified Management Accountant in the Province of BC.
Executive Vice President & Chief Legal Officer, Ledcor Group of Companies
Rod initially joined the company in 2001 as Vice President and General Counsel. He was then appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer, responsible for overseeing all legal matters for the Ledcor Group of Companies, including legal compliance, M&A, corporate financing, and corporate policy.
Prior to joining Ledcor, Rod was a Managing Partner at one of Alberta's premier law firms.
Rod has a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Law from the University of Alberta. He was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2010 and has an AV peer review rating from Martindale (highest level of professional excellence).
President, Ledcor Industries Inc.
Tom leads the business divisions and teams responsible for the company's mutli-billion dollar portfolio of civil & infrastructure, oil & gas, pipeline, building, mining, power, and telecommunications construction projects across Canada and the US.
Previously, Tom has spent time as President of Ledcor Constructors and President of Ledcor Contractors. Throughout his career with Ledcor Tom has worked in a variety of capacities, including Project Engineer, Operations Manager, Vice President, and Senior Vice President.
A 35-year employee, Tom is a designated professional engineer and is based in Edmonton, Alberta.
President, Ledcor Technical Services
Jimmy’s oversees Ledcor Technical Services (LTS), Ledcor’s division responsible for building and servicing communication networks for customers across North America
Jimmy has been with Ledcor for 10 years. He has been a senior executive for the past 25 years in several industries, such as Telecommunications, Information Technology, Distribution, Timber, and Construction.
Jimmy holds an MBA from Southern Methodist University (SMU).
President, Ledcor Properties Inc.
Bill is responsible for our Properties division, actively involved with our partners in the acquisition, development, and management of properties across North America.
Bill joined Ledcor 1990 as Branch Manager of the Southern Alberta Building Division. In 1997, under Bill’s direction, Ledcor Properties Inc. was formed with an emphasis on real estate investment including acquisitions, financing, project development and construction, as well as divestitures in virtually all asset classes such as land development, office, multi-family residential, industrial, and retail.
Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts from Sir George Williams University.
President, Construction (Canada)
Peter oversees construction operations throughout Canada, National and Corporate Accounts, and Ledcor Renew.
Peter’s career with Ledcor has grown as he moved progressively through positions from Manager of Estimating to his current role, where he provides valuable leadership to the construction team in all areas, including the development of our estimating systems, technical services, corporate administration, and project operations.
Peter holds a Diploma of Building Technology from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and is Gold Seal certified.
President, Ledcor Resources & Transportation
Paul oversees Ledcor’s Resources and Transportation division, which includes Forestry, Marine, and Aviation services.
Paul has worked in a presidential role for more than 25 years in Canadian companies involved in transportation (surface, air, and marine), real estate, telecommunications, terminalling, and forestry. He has an MBA and has served as a director on many public, private, and crown corporation boards, as well as industry associations.
President, Ledcor Pipeline Group
For more than 30 years, Bill has been involved with the planning and construction of many high-profile projects that have helped to expand Canada's pipeline infrastructure. Prior to joining Ledcor he held senior positions with other major pipeline construction companies.
Bill joined Ledcor in 2005, as Vice President, Ledcor Pipeline Limited and was promoted to Senior Vice President. In 2009, he became the Chief Operating Officer of the Pipeline group.
His pipeline project experience is substantial. He has lead projects with significant degrees of complexity including those traversing multiple terrain types such as arctic, winter muskeg, extreme-mountain, prairie, Northern Ontario rock, and greenfield sites such as Maritime and Northeast Pipeline, and Vancouver Island Mainline Project. He has worked extensively throughout Canada as well as on select projects in the United States, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, Malaysia, and Thailand.
President, Energy, Mining and Infrastructure
Jeff's diverse construction experience includes commercial, industrial, mining, civil, infrastructure, telecom, and pipeline. He has worked on projects across Canada, the United States, and Southeast Asia for both public and private clients.
Jeff joined Ledcor as a Project Manager and since that time has progressed into roles with increased scope and areas of responsibility. He was promoted to Vice President and Senior Vice President before becoming the Chief Operating Officer of Ledcor Contractors in 2012.
Jeff has a strong operational and administrative background, combined with extensive experience seeing a project through its lifecycle - including the feasibility analysis, budgeting and tendering of the bid, contract negotiations, and construction - Jeff is well-positioned to take Ledcor’s Energy, Mining and Infrastructure operations into the future.
