In 2008, Ledcor installed the underground utilities at the Suncor Voyageur Upgrader site in Fort McMurray, Alberta.

The scope of work included the installation of 15,000 feet of underground fire water piping and the interconnecting of cooling water, potable water and oily water sewer totaling more than 34,000 feet.

Ledcor excavated 7.5 million cubic feet of material throughout the six months of construction.
