Ledcor Cares

Ledcor’s Regina office came out on top at the 4th Annual Ride for Diabetes Research benefiting the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). A leader in research, funding, and advocacy, the JDRF is committed to improving the lives of those with Type 1 Diabetes. On October 30th, 2015, for the 4th year in a row, the Ledcor team earned both the top team and top individual fundraising honors.

Teams consisted of five riders, each taking a turn riding a stationary bike for seven minutes. Over the course of one hour they set goals, challenged each other to clock the most kilometers, listened to great music, and raised a lot of money and awareness for the cause. The Ride for Diabetes Research is a highly motivating teambuilding event that brings participants back year after year. Joining the ride are over 65 corporate teams from various sectors, including finance, securities, hotels and restaurants, wealth management, insurance, law, and accounting.

The Ledcor team was able to raise $5,625 this year. The grand total raised at the event was $58,680.
