Ledcor Pipeline Employees Bring Hope To The Hope Adventure Centre

Founded in 1948, The Hope Adventure Centre, formerly known as Boysdale, is an experiential camp for underprivileged kids. Its mission is to provide a safe place for youth and children to grow, learn, develop and mature in a way that helps bring a sense of purpose to their lives. Located in Sturgeon County, east of Edmonton, Alberta, the centre provides monthly camps for youth who have recently graduated from a foster program and have shown exemplary skills in school and behaviour.

Employees from the Grand Rapids Pipeline team recently presented the Hope Adventure Centre with a cheque for $30,000 to support the organisation’s rebuilding programs. Over 130 employees participated in 50/50 draws, barbeques and a bottle recycling program to raise funds, which were also supported by generous donations from contractors, suppliers and the Ledcor match.

Thank you to Brad Currie and Clint Harris for spearheading this campaign for funds to help the centre continue to support children in need.
