Ledcor Cares

Ledcor hit a fundraising homerun this year in the 23rd Annual BC Children’s Hospital Slo-Pitch Tournament, placing second in fundraising out of 67 teams that participated. Ledcor raised a total of $45,725 at the tournament, where in total over $428,000 was raised for the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Fifteen Ledcor Lightning players and a very enthusiastic cheering squad came out to Softball City in Surrey, BC to participate in the Slo-Pitch Weekend on a sunny afternoon on May 24, 2013.   During the Friday Night Real Estate Division Tournament the Lightning won their first game 20-2 and then lost their second game 17-16 to finish up the night.

Through fundraising, subtrades and suppliers generously donated $20,725.  Ledcor matched the donations received up to May 22, for a total of $35,725.

This year again featured the Ledcor Challenge, a donation matching program which saw Ledcor matching participant donations up to a total of $10,000. This year participants raised $500 by game day.
