Ledcor Holiday Giving 2019

Every year Ledcor employees come together to help families have a more joyful holiday season by donating gifts and other support so they can approach the New Year with a little more ease.

Here are a collection of the toy and food drives that inspired our employees over the 2019 holiday season:

Our Summit Air staff supported the YWCA's Family Cheer campaign in Yellowknife by sponsoring 15 families and providing gifts for kids and grocery gift cards.

The four major offices in Edmonton sponsored 11 food hampers for the Christmas Bureau, that included all the fixings for a turkey dinner, as well as an assortment of food staples, such as soups, pasta, fresh fruit, and vegetables to help families transition into the New Year.

Our US offices held a friendly competition to collect toys for charities in their areas. Local Toys for Tots drives were supported by our Chicago, Kentucky and Irvine teams.

In Austin, our LTS team collected toys for Dell Children's Medical Center and B.I.G. Love Cancer Cares.

Ledcor's head office, in Vancouver, and the LTS office, in Coquitlam, invited all employees to donate a toy or monetary donation to benefit the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau that filled over four large bins with toys.

The Ledcor construction team in Kelowna held a successful toy drive supporting the Okanagan Boys and Girls Clubs.

As well as supporting the Edmonton Christmas Bureau's hamper program, the team in Nisku sponsored seven teens through its Adopt-A-Teen program.

Participation in these annual holiday initiatives is one of the highlights of the year!
