Ledcor Employee Giving Campaign Reaches $10M

Every year, employees from across all divisions in Ledcor join together to pledge, participate in local fundraising events and volunteer at local charities, all raising money and awareness for over 200 charitable organizations across North America.  In October 2019, Ledcor held its seventh Employee Giving Campaign, raising more than $1.66M through donations and corporate match, and volunteering over 150 hours in local communities.  Since 2013 this campaign has now raised over $10M.

Connecting with our communities is important to Ledcor.  The Employee Giving Campaign runs over three weeks and gives employees the chance to learn more about the charities that Ledcor supports, and what that support means.

"Being the Campaign Sponsor for 2019 was a real joy and rewarding experience for me," says Bill Fox, Executive Sponsor 2019. "To see all of the effort and hard work that goes into this campaign from many Ledcor employees is amazing, and it was very gratifying to hear directly from many of the charities as to just how much Ledcor and this campaign means to them."

Employee contributions through pledges and fundraising activities are corporately matched dollar for dollar and continue to support wish-granting, hot meals for homeless youth, equipment purchases, and programs that assist those in need.  Activities such as stocking shelves, making meals and lending a helping hand to those suffering, medical and economic hardship, support those activities where volunteer time is the most valuable.
