Southpointe Common originated as a 36.5-acre unserviced site situated south of Red Deer’s center. Subsequent servicing and subdivision has resulted in land parcel sales to Home Depot (10 acres) and Walmart (11.7 acres), with the remaining 14.82 acres developed into a 165,000 square foot power retail center. Southpointe Common has become one of the most successful retail centers in Southern Alberta.
