Japan Canada Oils Sands (JACOS) developed the Hangingstone 20,000 bpd Expansion Project facilities for bitumen production utilizing Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage (SAGD) technology.

The initial phase of development for the facilities consisted of six well pads, the associated above ground gathering and distribution pipelines, and ancillary facilities that were necessary to support the operation of preliminary facilities.

The $30M project took 85,000 manhours and was completed in early 2015.

The below mentioned modules were deployed at each of the above mentioned well pads.

Ledcor’s scope of work included the fabrication and assembly of:

• Drain station modules
• Valve station modules
• Stick built modules
• Expansion loop
