While high-end logs from our forest tenures are earmarked and sold to dimension lumber mills, Ledcor turns the lower value pulp logs into custom-sized cants, wood chips or biofuel at its Chilliwack Canting Facility in British Columbia.

As part of our canting process, we:

• Trade high-end logs for access to lower quality pulp logs.
• Work with local logging contractors to identify and  then  log and sort timber.
• Send pulp logs to our Chilliwack canter facility for further processing.
• Sell cants either domestically or export them overseas.
