Mobile Electrocoagulation Wastewater Treatment

Clear Choice Wastewater Treatment, LLC

Kingman, Arizona

In November 2011, Ledcor installed a wastewater treatment system that uses electrocoagulation to treat septage wastewater for sanitary sewer disposal, for the town of Kingman, Arizona. The system exceeds sanitary sewer discharge requirements, has a small carbon footprint, is compact, and requires minimal retention time - with the treatment process taking less than 20 minutes.

The treatment plant has resulted in the elimination of federal and state disposal fees as well as costs associated with transporting material to disposal sites. The clean sewage allows for safe liquid disposal without penalty fees and the reduced weight of the clean sewage, caused by the separation of the water and the solids, results in significantly lower transportation costs.

The waste water system reduces:
  • Biochemical Oxygen Demand
  • Total Suspended Solids
  • Phosphorus
  • Several types of dissolved metals
  • Fats
  • Oils
  • Grease
