Project Profile
Colwood Electrocoagulation Pilot
Sechelt, British Columbia
To introduce and showcase Ledcor’s electrocoagulation wastewater treatment technology, we staged two trial projects.
The Colwood Pilot Project in Victoria saw more than 4.7 million liters of municipal wastewater processed in four weeks. This full-scale trial demonstrated stable operation and scalability of this technology.
Running over a five-week period, the Sechelt Pilot Project processed 9 million liters of wastewater. This trial validated the use of new materials, new sludge handling equipment, and increased treatment capabilities. It resulted in a more efficient and economical system that will provide the foundation for future mobile electrocoagulation wastewater treatment plants.
