Ledcor Properties Inc., Peterson Investment Group Inc., and Westbank Projects Corp. were development partners for Living Shangri-La Vancouver. This luxury mixed-use project features North America’s first Shangri-La Hotel and is Vancouver’s tallest structure at 646 feet high.
The project includes an Urban Fare grocery store, two fine dining restaurants, a spa, and Vancouver’s first public sculpture garden. The building has a triangular floorplate due to a view cone restriction that cuts through the middle of the site, leaving only a triangle where a 640 ft. building is permissible.
The project achieved a Vancouver Regional Construction Association (VRCA) Silver Award for General Contractor over $50 million.
