The interior of Nickel & Nickel’s new fermentation building is bathed in natural sunlight thanks to a custom timber-framed cupola stretching across the center of the roof line. Unique hand made hardware adorns many of the surfaces including the old-world custom barn doors.

The building houses 18 closed-top and seven open-top stainless steel fermentation tanks. Interior design celebrates the custom timber framing sitting atop perimeter concrete stem walls. Other custom design features include integrated accessory lighting and tank controls and exterior rough-hewn cedar cladding.
