Upon this historic property, Ledcor built this winery that was once a retreat center for Christian Brother’s students. This unique winery features a circular barrel-storage building supported by exposed interior steel framing and a concrete exterior wall, covered with stone veneer. High-end hospitality area finishes include Italian plaster, custom bronze windows, a custom catering kitchen, and wood flooring harvested from existing historic trees on site. The exposed structural steel elements were carefully coordinated to achieve both functional and aesthetic needs. The wine fermentation area was built with new tank controls and cooling system.
