Designed to be luxurious and private, the Honua Kai resort condominium complex in Kaanapali, Hawaii, contains a fusion of styles drawing on traditional Hawaiian motifs with double-pitched roofs and light plaster against dark wooden exteriors.  

The project consists of two ten-story terraced towers and three clusters of townhomes situated on Ka’anapali Beach, Maui. A network of natural lava rock pools, waterfalls, caves, slides, and rivers connects the towers to the beach. The construction phase posed many challenges as the extreme heat and humidity took its toll on Ledcor crews and the building materials. However, Ledcor’s dedication paid off–all 318 units sold out in a record launch of just eight hours.
