Construction has wrapped up on the new 5,300 m² (57,000 ft²) tactical equipment maintenance facility at the Helemano Military Reservation near Wahiawa, Hawaii.

The Army Corps of Engineers facility includes parking, a storage building, a hazardous material building, and a deployment building. Aside from construction, Ledcor’s crews handled site grading, heavy-duty concrete paving, building foundations, and site utilities.

The site presented some sizable challenges - including silty soil, natural slope, and daily rain - all of which were met with creative, cost-effective solutions in the field.
