This combined services facility houses the operations of multiple departments for the City of Lloydminster.

The complex consists of several stand-alone structures that include the main two storey office building, various workshops, vehicle and equipment storage garages, maintenance facilities, and a pre-fabricated sand storage building.

The main office building was constructed on the same platform as similar LEED-certified buildings designed by the same architect. A number of sustainability initiatives were incorporated to deliver long-term operational cost savings.

Ledcor was involved during the pre-construction phase and provided cost-effective solutions derived from the construction of similar facilities. We utilized a multiple tender process throughout the design phase allowing us to highlight any design concerns early and eliminate the need for rework later. Collaborating with the client and their design team, we were able to finalize a design that the client felt confident would meet their needs.

The project was successfully completed within the original budget.
