Design Build Single-Source Construction Approach
Starbucks Coffee Company/Evolution Fresh Juice Company
Rancho Cucamonga, California
Our team worked closely with Starbucks and the Evolution Fresh operational group and equipment vendors, preparing facility designs and process system solutions for the new complex juice production and bottling operation and facility.
The project included the remodel of the existing 250,000
sq. ft. dry warehouse building to accommodate the new juice process and production facility. The building required extensive renovations and upgrades, including:
The new juice production facility will distribute a variety of bottled fresh juice products to Starbucks stores nationally, designed to generate approximately 9 million gallons of bottled fruit and vegetable juice per year, with expansion capacity to 12 million gallons. The operation includes a special HPP process, blending, and other advanced industry processing systems.
This project had to be completed under a phased permitted fast track approach to accommodate the accelerated project schedule and operational completion timeframe.
