Ledcor Celebrates 65th Year of Achievements, Launches Corporate Video

More than 100 Ledcor staff, contractors and clients contributed to an epic cross-Canada video to celebrate 65 years of the company’s projects in Canada and the US.

Ledcor rebranded in 2010, and the company decided to mark its 65th year with a video that celebrated its new vision, Forward. Together. The intention was to showcase Ledcor’s people and projects across Canada and the US to reflect some of the company’s stories and achievements.
Given the challenge of covering all of Ledcor’s divisions in locations across the continent, the video was several months in the making.  Over 100 Ledcor employees, contractors, and clients took part, either in an organizational or starring role, and a core team of about ten Ledcor staff and filmmaking crew travelled across Canada to shoot at a variety of locations – from Vancouver’s Shangri-La to the town of Wandering River in Alberta.
The full location list includes the Shangri La Hotel, Guildford Town Centre, Van Deusen Gardens, Shaw Tower, time lapse of the Bow in Calgary, the LTS training facility in Coquitlam, the Art Gallery of Alberta in Edmonton, the Kearl site in Fort McMurray, along Highway 63 from Edmonton to Fort McMurray, and Wandering River.

The video can be viewed combined or as two parts: ‘Legacy’, showcasing Ledcor’s 65 year history, and ‘Great Strides’, demonstrating the breadth of our company through our innovation.
As can be seen from the videos, Ledcor is extremely proud to be celebrating our 65th year of business in Canada, and our 35th in the US. As we move Forward. Together. for the next 65 years, we expect to continue building momentum alongside our customers, partners, and within our communities.

You can view the 'Great Strides' video below and the 'Legacy' video on our History page, or visit our YouTube channel to view all of the videos.
