Ledcor Holiday Spirit!

With offices all across North America, there is nothing better than the Christmas giving season to remind us that by coming together with a shared purpose, our small efforts as a collective can result in really big, positive contributions to our communities.
Here is a collection of the toy drives, food drives, volunteer efforts, and monetary donations given by our individuals, offices, and teams over the 2016 holiday season.
Using funds from our Nisku safety intervention charity program, we partnered with Acklands to deliver a cube van (5 skids) worth of toiletries to the Edmonton Food Bank.
Summit Air held a very successful first annual food drive that will help many Yellowknife families in need this winter.

Even though the project team is busy completing the new BC Children’s and BC Women’s Hospital the team managed to join forces to  support Covenant House for a third year running with backpacks and  $1800.
Holiday Food Drive success from our San Diego team - 225lbs of food!
A great show of holiday spirit from our team in Kentucky who got together to contribute to their local Toys for Tots event.
Our team in Edmonton got into the Christmas spirit with donations for the “Giving Tree” in support of the Edmonton Food Bank. All combined we donated 259 kilograms of food and toiletry items and were able to donate $418.50 to the WIN house in Edmonton through donations for gift wrapping services provided by the Young Women’s Empowerment Group. As well, the team donated 19 hampers stocked with healthy eats & treats to the Edmonton Christmas Bureau.
