Road Conditions

16th June 2011 - All restrictions to be lifted.

SYD Road Limited Partnership gives notice that all load restrictions will be lifted at 0600am Saturday 18th June 2011 on the SYD Road.

Overweight axle loads are permitted subject to the Carrier entering into a Road Use Agreement with SYD Road Limited Partnership and obtaining all necessary MoT Permits.

Road Use Agreements are only issued for individual loads, no blanket agreements covering multiple loads are issued. Any questions regarding the SYD restriction can be directed to Gerry Anderson at (604) 699-2928

Road Repairs

Maintenance Programme - Spring/Summer 2011

SYD Road users are advised that routine maintenance activities will be carried out throughout late spring and summer 2011. These will consist of:

  • Bridge cleaning/ repair
  • Grading/ gravelling of road surface
  • Spot repair to road surface
  • Dust control
  • Brushing
  • Watercourse/ culvert maintenance
