Ledcor Earns Position on Canada's Top 100 Employers List

The Ledcor Group of Companies was recently recognized as one of Canada's Top 100 Employers. The Canada's Top 100 Employers list is selected by an academic advisory panel that determines which employers lead their industries in offering exceptional workplaces for their employees. Ledcor earned this recognition by meeting a number of criteria including subsidizing the full cost of tuition for employees taking job-required courses at outside institutions, managing a formal mentoring program for young workers new to the construction industry, offering a variety of in-house and online training courses and offering a range of financial benefits including a matching RRSP plan.

Dave Lede Family Charitable Foundation Donation Makes Kids with Cancer Society House a Reality

Thanks to a $500,000 donation from the Dave Lede Family Charitable Foundation, Alberta children suffering with cancer and their families now have a home away from home to call their own. Driven by a personal commitment to give back to the community, Dave Lede’s donation, which was matched by the province of Alberta, made this initiative possible for the Kids with Cancer Society.

Celebrating Ledcor’s Community Spirit – Alberta Children’s Hospital

Ledcor provided a donation of $300,000 toward the construction of Alberta’s first hospice and respite care facility for children, the Rotary/Flames House, located adjacent to Alberta Children’s Hospital. It will provide assistance to families in need of specialized support to help them care for children faced with progressive and life-threatening illnesses.
